    Default Inquisitors, where are they

    hi, I am playing 6.1 as turks and used toggle_fow cheat to look at what inquisitors are doing in europe..in vanilla without any patch, they were so deadly that I couldn't keep even my high piety generals alive..but now, I looked at the map and didn't see even a single inquisitors..are they removed for the purpose of adding something more important ?

    Well in 6.2 they seem to come out in spades when your a bad boy/girl and piss off the Pontiff...{Excommunication can be a very bad experiance in SS6.2}

    I think they appear where the percentage of herecy is big. During the early years of a campaign there probably aren't lots of inquisitors.

    Yeah, they do exist. Perhaps there's so little herecy in your campaign then.
    Btw I suggest playing by Papacy. In that case you really notice that there are inquisitors

    yeah, I finally saw them..but it seems that they are now less powerful and in less numbers..good to see that our 9-10 star generals will live without the fear of mighty inquisitors

    hmm... could somebody make a small submod (or tell me what to change) that makes inquisitors a bit more powerfull (not as vanilla pre-patch ofc!) and increase their spawn rate?, as at the moment i find them rather unimportant for the game.

    I never really have to worry about my generals getting killed by inquistitors. They're extremly rare in my game, and most of my important generals have 4+ piety.

    When I do see one near a low piety...

    I've had an inquisitor sitting on the island of Visby since practically the game started. He appeared when a heretic also appeared on the island. The problem with inquisitors is they can't jump on a boat or swim. I think he iced a general and also a priest of mine. I would assassinate him but that would probably kill my alliance with the pope.

    He's on the back of my mind these days anyway as I'm 90 turns in and giving Hungary a whooping and awaiting the arrival of the horde. One day I might use move_character so he can go ruin someone elses day.

    Really? I always used to assassinate them; the pontiff never criticized this...
