    Default Changing General starting locations?

For my own personal enjoyment, I've been toying with changing certain General's Bodyguards and starting units (for example, Boromir has Infantry BG's, Denethor has Tower Guards, etc), just for a sense of which units I figured they would fight with.

So, I was wondering which file in this Mod determines where General's start? For example, Boromir starts in Erech, and I was thinking about moving him closer to Osgiliath. How would I go about doing this?

You would need to check out the file descr_strat.txt in:
    ...\Medieval II Total War\mods\Third_Age\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign
First you need to find the exact cordinates (x & y) you want to place your general on the campaign map, then edit these numbers in the descr_strat.txt file to the coordination numbers of the generals you want to modify.

I'd suggest to check out the campaign script too, so you don't accidentally place unit on spawn of additional AI army (slave conquerors etc.).

As for the coordinates, when you are in game press '~' to open up dev console, then type toggle_fow to reveal the map. After that hover the mouse exactly at the place you need your coordinates for, then type show_cursorstat and write down somewhere they x,y which you get and proceed with next locations for other generals/agents/whatever you need. Just make sure all of the locations are accessible.

That is exactly what I was looking for, thanks a lot.
