    @ sumskilz

    realy nice skins

i have one proposal, cut the skirt in the middle from the model, look to my example - and you have never the bad texture stretching (red circle on attachments)

    Great units man!

But one detail you gave you're previous units is missing i.e. personal items such as water bottles (water bags for muslims maybe?), sidearms, bags, purses ect.

Yeah thats right sumz when you with you're long record of greatness start slacking - we notice!

    Thanks guys

Yeah the stretching bothers me. Of course fabric does stretch in real life but it looks unnatural the way it is in the game. The only reason that I haven't done what you suggest is that the clothing I'm recreating wrapped right over left with the seam at the side, so it's a matter of historical accuracy. I find the stretching to be more noticable in still screenshots than it is while playing.

I did say they are “almost done”. When they are holding zupin (double pointed javelins) as in the top picture, they will actually have the axes as sidearms.

As far as other interesting attachments, you can consider all my units to be works in progress even the ones I preview. I’ve been leaving some of those small details off in order to speed up production (at least for now).

I'd like to say yes, but I'm probably going to work on some more Middle-Eastern regional units right now because I have a lot of the clothing done already. I think you might see Andalusian regional units before the actual Murabitun. Pacco just created some shields for Christian Spanish units some of which will work well for Andalusians as well.

I haven't posted here in a while since I've mostly been working on map textures, but here's a few Scandinavians:

The skin tones look a little weird in this image but I think it may just be the lighting in Milkshape. If not, I'll fix them after I've tested them in the game.

Will the Assassins be available to only the Shi'a?

We have really figured out how to best represent the Nizari assassins in the game, but I don't think having them as a battlefield unit makes historical sense.
