Well it's mostly just me lately, but I've actually been a little slow for the past few months due to RL.

I've been experimenting with a new technique of making faces which I think is actually an improvement over what I've done in the past. This model has about the same poly count as ETW/NTW heads:

At a more realistic game distance:

Nice work! What is this technique if you don't mind me asking?

I don't mind you asking, but I think I'd have to write a multi-page tutorial to explain it properly.

Haha, no I wasn't expecting that, though if you have a link that could point me in the right direction it would be grand.

    It looks incredible indeed!
Has it a higher, lesser or equal performance hit as your previous faces?

youre probably using facegen modeller for those faces, saved as 3ds and imported to milkshape?

Well, there are tutorials out there for some aspects of what I do, but it's somewhat something I developed on my own, though I'm sure there are others doing something similar.

It's a jump from about 320 to 520 polys per head which makes a difference but is still about the same as ETW.

No man, facegen sucks. I don't like it for MTW anyway. The head models are good I guess but the smallest you can get them is 1650 polys and the textures are really plastic looking. Plus you can't really improve the textures because they are UV mapped in such a weird way that it's hard to draw on them.
