Invisable Units When Zoomed Away!

As soon as i zoom out even slightly all units dissapear , anything at a distance isn't shown why is this happening??

I am having this same problem. I can see terrain, and I can see unit flags. However, the units themselves disappear at anything other than very close zoom range.

I looked for a graphics setting to adjust unit visibility but didn't see any such setting.
