How to disable the forts and watch towers so that only romans and + greeks and eastern fractions can construct it??

I dont know how you would do that, but why would you want to? The barbarian cultures would have been just as capable of building forts and watchtowers.
when rsII is out
"OMG, every medium-class celtic warrior can defeat my polybian infantry! Barbarians aren't that strong!"
Guess what, 'barbarians' were more civilised than most people think, they were just different! They were quite capable of building forts and watchtowers,too![]()
off Topic: Oh No. I donīt want almost nacked barbarians with a better defense than legionaries in chain mail. This might balance the game, but it is not realistic.
What the Romans called barbaric, is not the same what we would call barbaric today and the barbarians werenīt cavemen, but they werenīt superheroes either.
on Topic:Why want you to change that? I have never seen the AI building forts, and towers are unimportant, arenīt they?

Naked fanatics aren't mid-level barbarian unitsthey are solely for the purpose of "kill as much enemies before you die", sorta suicide. I was talking 'bout the heavy spearmen and swordsmen, who have equipment not unlike the legionaries. Don't forget the Roman chainmail was an idea taken from the barbarians.
I do understand you though, and ofcourse naked fanatics will die easily before legionaries....after having killed quite a few of them, just like naked fanatics would do![]()
@Leeham991: What engine do you use? Do play RS1.6? I have only played RS1.5 so far and have never had to defeat any forts.
@Bull3pr00f: Then I misunderstood you. The elite of the barbarians had of course great equipment. Only the discipline of the Legionaries can persuade this elite to retreat.
Your answer calm me down. That was a point that annoyed me in some mods, wich call themselves realistic. You donīt have to know much about history to see that a chain mail can protect you better then nothing.

I had to defeat 18 forts when I invaded Gaul in my last RS campaign, and watchtowers extend the line of sight. Anyway, isn't it already a game feature that most barbarian nations make quick and simple forts and watchtowers while more advanced nations have more complex forts and watchtowers? 0.o
I like pie.
