    Default Question about modding

For the past couple of days I've been trying to get it so the spartan royal guard have the spear and sword for weapons. I figured out that first I needed to add the correct skeleton in the descr_model file. I also added in the stats in the export file. The only place im stumped at is getting the spartans to charge the enemy with the spears and not swords. Ive tried everything from switching the primary and secendary weapons in the stats to differant formations and even differant properties to the weapons like hoplite on both or calvary. For the most part everything works fine. A normal click they attack with spears and then hold Alt and click they will attack with swords. I just need help on figuring out how to get them to charge the enemy with spears instead of swords while still being able to use swords as a alternate weapon, similar the to the praetorian calvary. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would really apreciate it.

Oh and also I was wondering what was up with the shield wall formation? I notice some times a unit using it while in combat will turn to the side and fight the oposing force from the side of the formation and sometimes even turn around completely putting the enemy to there backs.

@SRG with swords: I think that if you have spear/sword infantry that aren't
phalanx-capable, they switch inbetween the 2 weapons at random.
I've seen this with Europa Barbarorum's Hypaspistai.

About them charging with spears: I think you can't really specify
what they charge with. I dunno. Maybe DimeBagHo would know.

@Shield wall: Shield wall is a weird formation, I believe what you
described is just pathfinding issues, though. I'm not sure.
