[Idea] New type of gaming

I don't know have this tried before but I got idea how we could make gaming much funner and more interesting:

Somebody starts campaign and then he plays it his own style. When the first king dies player upload save files in here and tells short description of the campaign (and mods what he is using of course). Then someone else continues first players campaign and when new king dies new player upload save files and so on.

So, I'm asking is there people who are interested of my idea and what do you think about it? Could it work?

It would work, it's the same way Online Hotseats work, except there is only one faction. Count me in! (SS 6.2, no subs)

I clicked on this thread expecting a bad idea; I was wrong.

One rule, though. No sending off heirs and other people off on suicide missions for no reason. It hurts the next player.

Sounds like an interesting idea.

Can I suggest you start a thread in the Multiplayer subforum so you can work out details such as which version of SS to use, what difficulty to play on and most importantly agree on which faction to play with

I just got an idea:

What if you can take control of other factions through marriage. Only as long as your lineage is ruling, you are allowed to rule them. When you marry a princess to a Heir, you can see him on your family tree. You don't take control when he becomes king, but rather when his son becomes King. If you take a look at the family tree every now and then you'll see when he dies (you also get a message when a king dies, I believe, so you don't even have to watch the family tree.

To have this work you need to play hotseat, but it's possible to defend in hotseat, so there's no problem there.

Nah, I don't think it's necessary... But of course feel free to start own campaign
