Download the DBeditor, it is in the forums, go for this thread: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=280329
Now proceed to altering the files:
What you need to do is this:
1 open the file that is available in the dbeditor (it should be pack something something)
2 Then go for the units land (or something like this)
3 Adjust the number of the unit in there
4 here is a pic that might help you out

Thanks.
Except it wont allow me to alter the numbers!!, infact even when i manged it, and saved the file, it went bact to the original setting!
On Windows XP, you have to set the computer to "show hidden folders and files" in the Folder Options of the Tools Menu for any window in order to see the whole directory to the preferences file - C:\Documents and Settings\[Your Account On the Computer]\Application Data\The Creative Assembly\Empire\scripts folder. Editing this file is by far the quickest way to get larger-than-ultra-size units. Not all values for campaign unit multipliers work, though. You'll have to try the value you want and see if it works in game.

He is using windows 7, not xp the path is different.
You have to mark in the Dbeditor that those files/tables that you are altering are not read only.
using dbeditor offer you the possibility of automatic backup in case of screw ups, that's why I have taught you that way.
For the script preference files, go for the search bar in the start menu and type %appdata% like it in here, press enter, then it will open to you a window that you will choose
The creative assembly>Empire>scripts this is the easiest way. for the path go for
C:\Users\[your username here]\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Empire

Or use the path "%appdata%\The Creative Assembly\Empire" which works with either Windows.
You drunken spinning mule, you!
Or go through all the folders and learn your computer.
or get the manual from mr smile (ed bott) which is always launched months before the windows that he is talking about is, damn those bots!
