I don' t like to complain but ... The official site of Napoleon total war, what is for?
    look: http://www.totalwar.com/napoleon/?t=EnglishUK

-There are only a few screenshots and not all who are available on all the site of gamers.
-All the items are almost empty.
-There is only one unit 's description on 355 units...
    -2 factions described on 5
    -there are almost no news
    -almost no interviews

I don' t know who is in charged of this site but it's useless, perhaps he went for a long time on holidays and will be back after the release...

    Maybe there's nothing to share?

Maybe the are being careful this time with the deceptive propaganda?

Maybe the guy who coded the AI for ETW was also the webmaster and when he left CA, so did work on the site?

Or maybe you are right and they are taking a long vacation.

I think they`re being very quiet this time round because they got badly burned with their pitch on ETW. I also think they have very little extra to say about it, except the uniforms are nicer. So you are basically right.

it's indeed a bit empty but well maybe we will get some videos etc. later and it's better if they are all improving the game instead of improving the website

oh they most probably have a different guy/team for the website.

You know like they have one art team and one code team. So i think it is fine anyway.

It's rather worrying that the former has a larger budget than the latter...

They should spend more time developing rather than marketing, so i'm glad that we're not hearing alot from them lately.

Assuming there will be a demo, I'd expect it to be provided through Steam. Especially since SEGA and Steam are as close as they are nowadays.

What I find odd is how it tends to be like an unofficial fansite, what with pictures, interviews and the like coming up here (and on other Total war sites) before they appear on the Napoleon site. Shouldn't they go up on that site first, considering it's supposed to be official?

Yeah the official site is kind of pointless, but I remember visiting the Medieval 2 official site regularly when it was still being developed and there was about the same amount of info and news being posted as there is now with the Napoleon site. So its nothing new.

Btw, have they ever finished those calendars? I can see on the medieval 2 site the latest calendar is for september 2008, guess they were too busy developing Empire so they totally forgot there were 3 more months to go before the year was over.

Considering it's supposed to be less than 2 months to release, there is next to nothing going on there.

The unit previews especially - with RTW there was something new weekly, with MTW it started strong but trailed off, ETW made an infrequent and limited effort, and now it seems to have been virtually axed.

Maybe they are trying to keep hype low, so we will be so delited with the game at release! Well we never had high hopes after ETW, but I do for NTW, its going to be my favourite TW, only because of the era!

A post said above its better that they focus on the game and just forget about the community for now the game needs alot of work or we might be in for a treat thats an empire total war treat.
