    Default CTD when modding anything

Hi, first of all let me introduce myself, i´m from Mexico, i have been wanting to join the community but until recently i got a copy of Medieval 2 so here i am , so, my problem is this, i install the game via steam and it works, unpack everything and it works but when i mod anything at all, i mean anything, like changing the value of a recruitment cost, i get a ctd on battle loading, ive deleted the two geography files, playing it using the batch file, and it always get the ctd and if i get the original txt file, in this case the export_descr_units or export_descr_buildings file it works again, what could it be causing the ctd ?

    Thanks

    Welcome to the forum.

When you mod anything, you need to delete the map.rwm and start a new campaign or even a new battle.

There are tutorials for this in the Mod Workshop forum.
