Default A Recommendation for the depection of Paganism

    Hello!

It's probably too late for any of my recommendations to have any effect on you guys but I finally decided that I'd throw my thoughts out there (because after all, whats the worst that can happen?).

First off, I'd like to ask if their is anything that I can do to help with any of the descriptions of Baltic Paganism (in it's Lithuanian, Prussian or Latvian sub-sets). In particular, I was thinking about how religious structures were depicted in EB.

Secondly, I'd like to recommend that conversion be based on providence improvements rather than agents. My reasoning for this is that Christian nations rarely had their populace revert to paganism under foreign influence in this mods time period. Also, The Christian Priests usually made headway by desecrating the Pagan Holy places or by converting them to Christian Holy places (The chapel to St. George on Birute Hill for example).

PS - Feel free to ask me any questions too. I can't even begin to explain how much I appreciate your hard work!

I believe we could use some info on those things, PM Alkidas as he is our Head of European Research. Or he may speak out here himself.

We are not using religious agents, which was one of the earliest mod decisions. The change in this area will be through transitions triggered by certain circumstances including building improvements (tech-tree) and other conditions.

Thank you, I'll message him a bit later today once I finish taking care of some things here.

    I'm glad to hear that.

Yes, we are not using religious agents like this, but just to prevent possible misunderstandings, we are using religious agents. Only our agents are not the same as in vanilla. You won't see any pure vanilla religious agents in DotS.

Hey, how did you get access to the dev forums?!

Alkidas, the next time I find you passed out in a bar again, and the next morning half of the forum knows about our plans, I'm not letting you out of the research center anymore, got it?!
