    Default Massilia/Massalia Pergamon/Pergamum

In the game, you'll have the cities of Massalia or Pergamon, but all the families members and traits refer to Massilia and Pergumum. Is this intentional? And if so, why?

I'm currently in a Massalia/Massilia campaign, and Rome has just defeated me and occupied Massalia. However, I had already defeated the Iberians, and I occupy the entire Iberian peninsula, yet all the grooms that find their way in to my family, are from Massilia. The marriage proposals are only from people of Massilia, and never anywhere else.

And why is it that when a child is growing up, they'll have a name that say something of Sertos, but then when they finally reach adulthood, they become something of Massilia? Why is this?

I have another question too. If the Roman Rebels actually manage to defeat Rome, what exactly happens? Can the Marian Reforms event still happen? Does anything else happen other than a faction being toppled? Just curious, because it's the Roman Rebels that are beating me back. I helped the Roman Rebels defeat Rome.

It's not intentional. The cities have slightly different names in those campaigns, but the associated traits only have one name.

Not sure about this, perhaps Suppanut could fill us in?

The reforms can still occur if the Roman rebels meet the conditions (an Imperial Palace in Italy outside of Rome). If the rebels win they will turn into the Romans (i.e. they won't be rebels anymore).

Rome has been dead for nearly 20 years now, and the Roman Rebels haven't turned in to Rome.

If you have loyalty turned off they won't turn into the regular Roman faction. The reforms will still work either way.

I'm a total noob and don't know how loyalty works. I've played with loyalty before, but each turn all my family members lose more loyalty, and eventually start revolting.

You control so few number of Greek polis, that why you end up have no greek but those from Messalia. Control more greek polis's area to expand your pools.

When ET3 released, system of it will be different.

"of Messalia" is epithet to conceal not so much sense origin of characters' surnames for that faction.
