Some other questions about kgcm

Hi all, first i would thank to Soulfirez for the help with stratmap settlements textures, problem solved, shame it's not savegame compatible.

New questions:

1) I have got 4.1..if i put 4.2 will it be savegame compatible??

2) In the features i read that now it would be possible to choose the next faction heir simply giving the privi seal's ancillary to a family member...well i've checked out that but it's still the game to choose my heir...privi seal seems to not have any effect...how does it work??

3) like most of mods kgcm character's age is very annoying...all die around 60's...most from 61 to 64....it's not like the old RTW where there was a big variety of ages..some lived out 65, some 70, some 75 and someone also more!!
I've seen onli 1 M2TW mod that allows character to pass 65 years old, it's DLV. Is it possible to have this feature on KGCM?? and how??

4) Still have the EDU problem...anything i change the game crashes when load my savegame, this is true onli for KGCM...i don't understand why??

2) the privy seal allows you to choose the heir to the heir only. Give it to who you wish to follow your factions initial heir. They will become king.

3) The oldest I've had a king was 72. Don't know exactly how it happened, but it means it is possible.

Look in the descr_campaign_db.XML under the family_tree tag.

I believe by changing the old_age value to a higher number that should give you what you want

Here, try this. It may help with your issue

Just extract to the KGCM folder (C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\kingdoms_grand_campaign_mod)

Thanks but..?? why a cfg??

single game options are just the same as mine...your has onli other hotseat options...in which way could it help with the EDU?

It will make it so that way your campaigns (hotseat or not) will load games that don't even have the same data. Tried it with another mod (someone had the same problem as you), and it worked for them.
