    Default Tips for Playing Gondor

Hello Third Age Total War Members,

I am new here and would like to start playing as Gondor.

I have recently started and have noticed the stacks pouring out of Mordor.

It would benefit me extremely if any of you could answer these questions please:

    1) Should I worry about Harad. ( they seem to be peaceful even though I am at war with them )

    2) Should I worry about Isenguard ( they seem to have slaughtered Rohan )

    3) Would catapults be an effective way of dealing with olog-hai or should I use the classic cavalry in back and spearmen in front routine? ( read some threads on it )

Thank you very much and I hope to enjoy playing for Gondor.

There's some older threads like these:

    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...ghlight=gondor
    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...ghlight=gondor
    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=279302

Also people are already discussing Gondor's balance and gameplay for 1.4 here: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=322059 This post seems particularly informative: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...35#post6536535

I recommend you hook up with that thread.

And welcome. Don't be put off by my incessant thread closing.
