    Default The Isengard Mine

If this has been mentioned before I am sorry but the Search function is too vague and I have no time to go trawling through results.

So I have added the Mine to my game and as it was blowing up half my and the enemy's army I was wondering two things:

    - Why did I have to mod it in? Should it not be there already?

    - Where is the texture?

    - Does it have anything to do with the bomb not disappearing after exploding?

I had no idea it was even in the game.

It was in the game in 1.2, but then they took it out! I was almost compelled to start an Isengard campaign, but, then they took it out...

Go into export_desc_buildings and find "NE Culverin" and remove the ";" so that the line is read.

Go into export_desc_unit and find "NE Culverin" and remove the "no_custom" so that it is in custom battles.

WARNING THE MINE IS SILVER BECAUSE IT HAS NO TEXTURE (Perhaps is in files but has a different name?)

The only flaw i see is the missing texture.

It should have been added in 1.2 but some guys, like axsnan, experienced bugs. However, she works just fine.

It was awesome when I used it on a fort (a small wooden thing that in real life would have probably collapsed in its entirety). Half the enemy force was lying dead (and several of my own units)

I also tested it and haven't had that bugs...my mine also has textures, like you all surely know
    (for the newbies....vid-my sig )

But i think it will be worked on again later, so don't worry, and again- as already very often said with many things- just wait...

RR/RC has Isengard Forge that allows Uruk-hai an extra armor upgrade.

What does that have to do with this thread? Really shameless self promotion.

I thought you meant a mine, like where you get resources. But it was the exploding bomb you meant I guess.

Well to be fair the "Isengard Mine" is more like a bomb than a landmine.

Well it's called "Culverin" so you can see its origin.

Well people call it "mine" so I put mine. I could rename it.

Don't matter...beware,don't piss the modders off. If they say go take a nap, I go. Don't sweat the small stuff folks...

OT: The concept shows great promise. Looking forward to it.

I was out from 10pm to 6am with loose women, drunk like a whole bottle of green label, very sorry to ruin your day with my post, even if the screen was blurred as hell and I could barely type.
