    Default Rammas Echor

    Hey all, someone able to tell me the history of the Rammas Echor?
    Just started reading the Silmarillion again, but don't know if it pops up in there

    Rammas Echor was a great ancient wall that surrounds Minas Tirith and encloses the Pelennor Fields. It was built after Minas Ithil fell in TA 2002 (and became Minas Morgul) to resist invasions. The wall was repaired during the time of the War of the Ring by Denethor, but did little to hold back the forces led by the Witch-king.

    I don't think it pops up anywhere in the Silmarillion.
