Graphics Glitches

Ok so some very strange stuff going on....first the rundown:

im playing as rome and about 200 turns into the game some pretty weird things start happening to the graphics and in particular to the specialised roman legions and later period units ie veteran auxiliaries etc.

the most noticeable are folded card shields, shield outlines around the shields and the funniest(although rather annoying) the cloven hoofed legionnaires running around.....

did my first and obvious checklist through graphics by reducing this and that etc but then noticed that it doesnt apply to all the units ie the governors or praetor victrix bodyguards are all perfectly normal and look awesome but the legionnaires and aux units look they have fallen to the dark gods of chaos!!!

is this a general glitch with the new legions or am i seeing things....?

Post some screen shots so we can see if you are halucinating or not......

Perhaps he has the unit shaders turned off...

Yes, but the unit shaders usually result in 'pointy feet' and not the stated 'cloven hooves'.....

hey lads cheers for the replies, bee stuc at work so no time to respond....

the problem reared its head after a fresh install, the default install is set to a activision folder and my copy was released byCA.

did a fresh one and all the graphic demons have been excorsised.

by the by where are battle pics stored? and could a op please delete this thread....
