    Default Error while installing

    I uninstalled Medieval Total War 2 a few weeks ago.Then I decided to install it again just recently. The the game has always worked fine until now. It came up while installing "data_2.pack" then all of a sudden it came up with:

    Error
    D:\main\packs\data_2.pack
    Data error (cyclic redundancy check)

    Can someone please help me since I have no idea what this means. The game is genuine it's not downloaded or copied.

    Clean the disc and check it real good for dirt, scratches, finger prints, crack in the plastic, etc. That is most of the reason for it.
