Napoleon total war or Mass Effect 2 ?


lol stange choice but as a pick from both what would you maybe expect to buy over the other.

ME2 hands down. It will be out sooner and is certainly going to be fun. Besides, by the time NTW is patched up to acceptable standards, you'll be tired of ME2 and ready for NTW.

I buy both and i am happy that between the releases are two months. Mass Effect will be nice but like part one not so extremly long. I think i will spent more time with Napoleon.

Well, since ME2 comes out January 26 and NTW on February 23, I'll have plenty of time to play both

I will be getting both, but i would say if i had to pick it would be mass effect 2

Mass Effect 2. Napoleon will just be another Empire, with all that game's flaws and characteristics.

Whot about Mass Effect? It was a boring unimaginative game with everything from KOTOR ripped off and renamed, Jedi = Specter, Siths = Evil Alien Machines and so forth.

The environments were stupid, mostly playing in copy pasted rooms, the planets were all barren rocks and the amount of dialogue is just boring because nothing interesting or useful can be found.
The Game-play was worse consisting of holding down M1 + W kinda like playing the pyro in TF2 only less fun. No Challenge, stupid plot twist decision that made no sense and a BORING enemy.

A giant Robot machine intent on destroying all biological life? You ing kidding me all you need is an EMP rocket and your done.

Give me N: TW any day over that. Even with Empire being the boring mess that it was it was no way near as boring as Mass Effect.

Save your money for Assassins Creed 2 on your PC instead of Mass Erect (50% of the sales were probably for that PG13 sex scene)

Well since I can't remember a single game from bioware that wasn't extremely good at what it did I'd say your chances are higher of scoring a certain top game with ME2.

I'll be waiting with buying NTW untill it's patched and I've heard some good commentaries from the fans anyway

Lol - c'mon, compare like with like, ME2 looks completely tedious to me, so "Le Petit Caporal" is a no-brainer choice for me. Vive L'Empreur! Vive La Gloire!

ME2 easily. CA has a track record of releasing unfinished products (just think back to Empire as it was out of the box), that even when fully patched still need mods to make them realise their full potential (eg Medieval 2). I expect Napoleon will have many stupid bugs that should have been fixed in internal testing. Bioware, on the other hand, generally releases solid games that work. Mass Effect 1 was obviously unfinished too (think those cookie cutter side quests), but at least that worked fine out of the box and the core game was still good (cf Empire). Bioware's other games are generally outstanding (Dragon Age, Baldur's Gate series, etc).

Empire is the last time I buy a CA game without waiting a few patch cycles.

ME2 all the way! Those who criticise it are obviously not RPG fans and didn't fully explore the game and quest lines. The story and background is very deep and original and hardly a KOTOR rip off. And the combat was damn fun. Plus other than the uncharted worlds the main quest planets were very detailed and rich and looked amazing. I had a much more enjoyable time replaying Mass Effect than with the boring buggy trash that is E:TW. Heck I played ME much more than E:TW. And ME2 is looking to be twice as badass!

Strange thread and strange choice. But I had ME and while it was short and not really role playing it was complete and did what it was meant to do.

So ME2 wins.
