    Default Greek Spear

I am a fan of EB but the fact that the greeks(Koinoi Ellhnes)have a very unhistoricaly and buggy spear prevents me from playing.
Let me inform you that i am a greek person and i would like this problem to be fixed.
The Greek Spear (or Dori in greek) was 3.6 meters. The sarisa was 6 meters long. The macedonians are using the sarisa and there is no problems with them.
The problem is with the greeks.

It is true that the Spartans used to use the sarissa at the roman times but in game they don't.Insted all of the greek units that use spears have this problematic 5 meters spear not sarisa and i think that someone should replace it with sarisa or ever the dori.

I can't see the units raising those super high spears overt their heads and fight with them. This formations was used before the era the game starts so its both inacurate and buggy

After Phillip's reform, the Greeks didn't take a wholesale switch from Doru to Sarissa. Many of their units still used the shorter spears. However, they did adapt Sarissa armed soldiery, which were about equally matched with their Makedonian counterpart.

As for the overhead spear wielding, the period's art lacks a uniform representation of how the equipment was actually handled, so what is represented in game is only research based speculation.

the team, iirc, has said on numerous occasions that this is a known issue but that it was not a priority to correct...

you'd need to get 3ds max and the proper plug in and manually adjust each model

I am not a modelist and i don't know how to do this.Maybe a creator can do this.

Watchman, the dori was not 2.4m.These spears were short spears and were used by skirmishers
