    Default Belgae campaign

So far money is in good amount, since you need to build your faction.
    No CTD on turn 6.
I will show more locations of other factions in later turns.
I have also noticed Sparta is doing well, they took Corinth , and Argos.
I feel in my campaign with this faction i never played before, i will head east and take a few cities, which are stronger held.
All the Free people's look good and strong. I think i will have my hands full.

I hate saying this, and tone will kill me, but i don't care for the generals cart and horses. Somehow i feel it would be better with a foot General.
Or horsemen. Since these carts are easily destroyed.
    sorry just an opinion.

Surely you mean chariots and not cart and horses? At least they are swifter than the Spartan Generals!

I think one of the effects of a chariot is to scare nearby infantry or cavalry - you should be able to 'mouse over' the nearby enemy units to see if this is correct. Use that to your advantage as this can result in breaking the AI units.

It's a matter of learning when to use them - like elephants. If you use them too early in a battle they have an effect but get killed off. Use them later on against tired units and they can be devastating.

I'd suggest trying to make trade with the Free People faction (for the Belgae I am fairly sure that is the two settlements in Northern Britain and the one in Ireland - not London).

    OK,
Trade? They are building forces and coming closer to our lands.
I attacked already one city in the east it fell.
In the northern lands i took another city also.
I was at war with them also.
But you are right, trade is the best idea.
And those Chariots could be used better by me.

Yes, which is one of the reasons why I suggested playing a different type of faction. At least you didn't pick a horse archer faction! I can play them but using the AI army as pin cushions gets a bit boring after the first few battles (for me).

Playing a different style of battle than the Roman or Greek based one can be an interesting experience.

I get the feeling with the barbarian factions you need to make use of their charge bonus.

I guess another thing to try and take advantage of is ambushes - leave an army hidden in a forest and wait for an AI army to pass by......

Yes i was thinking of that!
    Surprise is always an advantage.
    And over powering smaller stacks.
Will an A1 army just run into my hidden units in formation?

I think they are supposed to be out of formation - but I've never personally seen that on a battlefield.

Your units should be in formation - so there should be a 'deployment' phase for you still.

That was the first sentance. The second sentance was your own army.

    These are the beginning shots.
As this faction, I'm trying to build income while at the same time build an army.
I already took two northern cities north.
    But watching my population growth.

    More shots.
Is this correct? Since it's a Barbarian faction.

    Showing Sparta's standing.

    Roman Cav.? For Free peoples?

checking spelling, and this is current location of all factions.
No CTD, and playing well with over 10,000 troops on field.
    playing at H/H
But lower the unit in preferences from 160 to 120 men.
    Makes it run great.

Fixed Monument Base text. The Roman Cavalry issue should be fixed.
