Legatus Legion Ancillaries
Apologies for starting a new thread but couldn't find any information on this topic! My question is: Is there anyway of stopping a General from acquiring more than one type of Legion Ancillaries? If I've just conquered a town with a general with the II Legion Ancillary, he often picks up the ancillary from the town he has conquered and the effects from these both stack.
Is there a solution to this? Or do I just have to dump unwanted legion ancillaries onto a rubbish general?
Thanks
Only dream I ever have. Is it the surface of the Sun?
Everytime I shut my eyes, it's always the same.

Re: Legatus Legion Ancillaries
I created that. Trust me there is no way to avoid it. What you need to do is swap ancillaries with another general by drag and drop.
Or you have a general used as governor standing by to take command of the city once conquered. That general should have 8 ancillaries and the one legate ancillary you do not want to be issued will not come.
Or you do not leave you general in that city but you have a full stack garrison of town militia standing by to go into the city once conquered.
