    Default Good Biographies

I'm looking for some good biographies to read. Biographies that are fairly fun and insightful. Not a college course text book. It could be on anybody or someone you feel others should read up on.

I just finished reading Thomas Jefferson: Author of America by Christopher Hitchens

Heinrich Mann's two novels about the life of Henri IV, king of France: The Youth of Henri IV and Henri, king of France - among my favourite historical novels

Golo Mann (Heinrich's nephew) - Wallenstein. A little hard to read though.

Stefan Zweig - Fouche, Marie Antoinette, Erasmus of Rotterdam

Benvenuto Cellini's Autobiography - a great artist of the Renaissance in his own words
