Egypt become inferior!!!

I'm playing version 5.9.1 and I see Egyptian army completely outclass by all faction around it

!
Egyptian no longer have their chariot as well as Pharaoh guard and archer.Their army here have poor quality with phalanx and they don't have useful support troop on their own

.They lack of missile troop as well (don't have any archer and slinger,javelineer is weak and useless in melee).The high quality troop take too much to have (Cleruch,Basilikon...)

In vanila thought Egypt have poor infantry as well but their sheer number and horror chariot,pharaoh army,large number of cavalry help them bring their enemy to is kneel and at least they still have assault troop (desert axeman) to storm the wall

In XGM Egypt is small and their number as well quality is no match with TSE

So what you guild often to use when play Egypt??

Well, they aren't the best in the world, but the Nubians usually work for me in a pinch. Nubian Spearmen are decent and Nubian Bowmen are pretty good as long as they're protected. I don't play Ptolomies much so maybe someone else can shed more light on the subject.

it's not the quality of their troops It's just that the Silver Empire is too large for them to handle. What it means is that the Silver Empire has the money and the Ptolemies just are bankrupt.

the roster might have become a bit generic, the old roster may not have been accurate but it was entertaining. I miss the mounted and dismounted axemen, the egyptian archers and nile spearmen who used to form the backbone of my egyptian armies.

I didn't play with Ptolemies yet but from I see they have a classic Greek roster, along with Nubian Auxillaries. I don't think they are any harder to play than Carthage, for example. I could be wrong, of course.

Of course Nubian and Eastern unit works well but use them make handicap because they can't be train any where.

I think I will rally in Eastern troop than Nubian because they can be train in Silver Empire

.Eastern skimisher and machimoi phalangite is good.But I think it is strange because Egyptian without chariot

Now in my coutry is 7:15 pm but Happy new year everyone
