    Not exactly a Soviet song...
it was written in 1912 honouring the Bulgarian women bidding farewell to their husbands who left for the First Balkan War, it was also the unnoficial anthem of the White Army.

Also, a counterfeit "Russian" song that I thoroughly enjoy regardless of authenticity...

While it's not specifically a piece of Soviet Music (it deals with men pulling boats along the Volga), the song 'Volga Boatmen' definitely is one of my personal favorite pieces of Russian music.. One of the main reasons I like it is because I happened to come across this performance by the Red Army Choir:

Although Paul Robeson's translation of the piece into English is also very impressive:

Robeson's performance of the USSR anthem is another very, very impressive work. Too bad he sings in praise of Stalin, but this was written and sung before all of the man's horrible crimes were brought to light:

Oh, and HOW could I leave out Team Fortress 2's Heavy Weapons Guy!?
