White americans to become a minority by 2042

How do you feel about this? Do you see it as negative, positive or are you non-plussed? Some would claim that the US has never been a 'true' white nation like northern europe but rather a melting pot. Some would say that it is a continuation of european civilisation and should be majority white. Where do you stand and what do you think of Americas future?

Well I always saw the US as a White Nation including Canada, Australia and New Zealand, thinking about Americans I always say white faces, maybe because they founded it and builded it up.

America is in decline and so is its white population and i think if this report is true and considering current shifts I think that by 2050 the US can no longer intervene in the ME or do whatever it wants and be world police, it probably will be struggling to keep the peace within its own borders.

It probably will become like Mexico. The South is already starting to look like it both in people and violence.

Clearly. I mean, nationalism is completely non-existent in North America, Europe and Latin America.

Few, if any, nations are based on ''race''. Nations are based on culture, language, religion, etc.

There was no such thing as ''British culture'', at least not back before 1800. The US was overwhelmingly non-English. The bulk of the population was German, Irish, Scottish, French, Hispanic, Dutch, etc, and that clearly shows in terms of accents and culture, differing per region.

There is no such a thing as a ''Northern European ethnicity''. I hate these kind of pan-whatever generalisations based on nothing. I don't speak Finnish, nor do I understand anything of Finnish culture, yet you claim that I share a common ethnicity with a Finn? Up to 100 (or even 50) years ago ''Northern Europeans'' were still massacring eachother for cultural differences.

But as others have already said, who cares? America is a country built on immigration. I could understand that it would be a problem if it was a European country or something, but America is a melting pot and has always promoted itself as such.

I think rather then looking at it as a negative thing, you should just look at it as a new chapter in American history. You have just had your first Black President and now this is the next stage in a more equal american society.

In short, the US Society would be destroyed by these Hispanics, becoming MUCH like Mexico. After all, americans, especially in the south, still have their own nationalist pride, you know, It's like that DC comic, "Kingdom come."

Specific immigrants came in manageable numbers, in a specific time and place that was practically unique in human history. We took in more people than we could easily absorb and had to shut immigration down for a while in the early 20th century. Was this because we were evil monsters? No, it was because America is not in fact sugar candy mountain with a borg button for instant assimilation. We did have a culture(mostly British). We did have a common ethnicity(Northern European), and people who looked different were assumed to be foreign. Even to this day FOB's use American and White interchangeably. Disgusting. I don't hate other races- I definitely look down on other cultures- but I wont pretend for a minute that race isnt important to me, or everyone else. Simple. We get along better with our own race. There is a comradery there, a shared history and set of values. Whites in Europe are being overun, and in North America as well. We are the only race who doesn't give a about race, and its exposed us to...well, this. Extinction. Were 8% of the worlds population and yet every single White country has some kind of self imposed moral duty to let the worlds masses in, to not attempt to assimilate them, and just accept the demographic crisis that will follow. Yet at the same time we support racial and ethnic nationalism in other countries like Tibet, Korea, Japan, etc. What a disgusting situation we are in. Though, I doubt it will ever come to fruition, at least, not without violence. The heart of humanity is far too brutal and tribal to allow that.
