Shouldn't all factions have an AI levy script?

Yeah I could use some help with the Seleucid ones. My knowledge about them is rather limited.

I don't recall if the Selucids hold Antioch (or the Ptolemaics do) but that should be one of the settlements if they do. Also the capital and maybe Bablyon?

    Edited:
    Seleukis / Antiochea
    Susiane / Seleucia
    Bablylonia / Bablylon

I presume these are supposed to be 'core' settlements? I guess they could also be for settlements that we would like the AI to give a decent fight over? I presume an example of this would be Masilla (which has been included - but not Athens?).

The concern with these is that it could change the balance of the game (maybe).

    Yes these are Core settlements.
I forgot that I hadn't included Athens and some other free greek settlements. There might be more of them in the east haven't check that yet.

Concerning the balance for factions like Sparta I'm sure Alvara could give them a bit more money / population to counter this change.

I think Athens is a fairly important settlement - it's a quite well established at the start as well. When taken it should go down with a fight.

If this is going to be controlled by scripts I presume Sparta could 'take over' Athens and it would then become an important settlement for them? I presume the number of such settlements should be coded for factions that start out with only one or two settlements.

I presume Jerusalem (held by the Seleucids) should also be in there?

A lot depends upon the criteria (or purpose) for which we want to 'preserve' certain settlements for a faction.

Is it just the 'core' settlements or settlements that are important for the AI to hang on to? Empires that are spread out (Carthage and Seleucids) may need settlements in differentareas of the map. For Carthage this will be Carthage Nouvo and Carthage, for instance....

Wwant to have a bit of both, just the settlements that shouldn't be overrun quickly (while they currently are) and/or the most important historical city/cities for each faction, I guess?

What if we could have 2 different armies spawned. One for Capitals and one for the lesser ones. The Capital should have much stronger levy than the lesser cities levy.
This is of course if there isn't to much job to implement that.

yes for spread out empires like the seleucids we want triggering when further out settlements are taken. In a way though the script needs to be triggered when some smaller ones are taken in order then that the army is there to do battle before the big one is taken unless it's triggered by a siege condition or an army's proximity
