New Info?

When the blood hell are we going to get some more info about Anything? The Units ships etc have not been up to date for ages....NO new Reviews and the game is due out in feb? Plz....They always say that and push it back 4 or so months, I'm Dissappointed in Ca, Becouse they over advertised for ETW, then that turned into a major Fail, Now there WAY Under Advertising. Come on Ca, Every time i look at the Org. And the main site its Deadddddddddddd!! Give us something to read and look at, and Talk about.

If they actually delay the game, I will be surprised and happy! They might actually release a complete game on release (even though it will still require 4 or 5 patches)

When ETW was delayed I was happy, because I thought that would make ETW better and more complete... and it was pretty awful, primarily with a CAI that was dead, and everyone knew it.

I still wonder what state ETW would`ve been in had they not delayed it when they had!

What I want to know is this....

1. Will NTW BAI be fixed or better than ETW's current sorry state of BAI?
2. If yes, can NTW be modded to do a "ETW retrofit"? I never felt that I got a good shot at ETW once they broke the BAI in patch 1.4 and 1.5. I actually am more interested in ETW's timeline than NTW's timeline.

WHat is this screen? The third one down? I was just talking about this exact feature in another post. Didn't even know it might already exist in NTW.

A few of those screenshots are new for me and look very interesting.

It is not so important when they release it or whether they delay it; the important thng imo is whether CA is committed to support it. Even after five patches for ETW I feel that the true support of this titles is fairly wretched. I feel like any TW release is similar to a polished beta and they might as well release it and include as many betatesters as they can so that they can get plenty of feedback for the inevitable patches. The key is for CA to actually take that feedback and improve the game.

It appears to be an update on that map we have in the bottom right corner for etw, except more accurate when it comes to positioning, and more specific on unit type, for instance the difference between missile cavalry and regular cavalry. I am intrigued as to what that explosive/fanning symbol represents in the first of these pictures.

those screens are interesting, and very, VERY cool!! i hope this is some kind of new battle map type, thing.

The reason why CA haven't released much is that I believe they don't want to create a hype like what they did for ETW, we expected it to be the best game but then CA didn't reach the expectations. Hopefully, the don't raise the bar so high for NTW, so when released, it is above all of our expectations.

I agree but a company can release basic into without hyping it to the moon. A simple list of the playable factions would be a nice start.

we already know the factions its Great Britain, Spain, France, Prussia, Ottoman Empire, Russia, Sweden, Eygpt, and some minor factions i dont know about the Italian campain tho

Note that I mentioned "playable" factions. There is quite a bit of speculation on the final list. The 5 majors are fairly obvious for the Mastery of Europe Campaign but what about the Ottomans or Spain and what about the other two campaigns?

savoy, genoa (?), venice (?)

and we DONt know the playable ones though (only 2). we have good ideas though

they are aiming for 6 playable but you could just mod the other ones

To be honest I dont see why they bother having X factions playable. In every TW so far, at least one (more like 100's) mod has came out unlocking them all.

Because people who don't play mods would be pissed if they released the game with very incomplete factions. Therefore, they make the minor and more generic factions unplayable (as if they all weren't pretty generic in ETW anyway)
