Default Temp workaround for siege artilley/machines in RS1.6

3rd post ... still a noob in the TW forums but don't have much time to play/post
    on hand .

I searched and searched today but could not find a fix to the positioning
of the siege machines in forests around cities for RS1.6

Kind of a lenghty workaround but if you play your sieges first in the turn,
why not revert to the descr_geography.db vanilla file that the RS team kindly left
in the in the data folder just for sieges. Play all the sieges, save, exit the game,
rename the dscr_geography.db file (as outlined below), and play field battles with
    the upgraded (hilly) geography file.

Again it's kind of lenghty to shut down/rename/restart but it doesn't seem to affect my
game so far. Wish there was a way to do a quick swap in game.

[From the RS 1.6 Install thread]
Note: the original descr_geography.db file is included in RS 1.6 and named descr_geography.db.RTW. If you find the terrain changes are not your cup of tea, you can restore the original RTW terrain by renaming descr_geography.db something else, and changing descr_geography.db.RTW to the 'proper' name of descr_geography.db. This simple swap will restore the terrain.

    Thanks,
    Your Friendly Underworld Dweller.

That's an interesting idea, but like you say it takes some time and I don't really mind about it anymore. I never assault cities. I hate those battles. I wait untill their cities are undefended, and then charge in with the help of spies or catapults to autoresolve the same turn. Or I attack an army standing next to the city so the garrison comes out to fight.
