Expansion of napoleon

What do you guys think must be the expansion of napoleon total war

No option for other or none of the above? Kinda limiting people to what you want?

Out of these options...

Crimean Wars

There's already a post like this (What is next for the Total War series?) but if I had to choose one i would pick all of them in a kingdoms type of expansion, i think that would be best!

I dont know any more for that period in the 19th cenury what was big and good enough for a total war game

Definitely think the American Civil War will be included. Hopefully within the grand campaign so you can go on a world conquest with the Confederate States.

Skip it and go to STW2 allready...

The logical choice would be STW2 over RTW2... since STW carries gunpowder units, then to progress and refine the engine back to RTW standards. But i would imagin a Victorian total war might be done if Napoleon is indeed a flop.

i see what your saying, but personally i would prefer to see a RTW2

I'd do like what Marshal Beale said-four kingdoms style campaigns. ACW, the Crimea, Colonial Africa and as for a fourth either South America or Napoleon the III\ Bismarck's expansion or something or other.

American Civil War perhaps, although admittedly that subject does lack some depth...being there only two factions and whatnot, with maybe some Indians thrown in and some British if you want to get real creative.

I think you're getting at why the ACW won't happen: it only involved two factions. Africa won't happen as the conflicts there happened after the bolt-action rifle was widely adopted and machine guns were in use, so it's a totally different type of warfare. I'd love to see an Asian expansion that covers the East during their musket period. Out of the choices in the OP, I'd prefer the South American one.

You do realise that withen 1861-1865 there was about 5-6 different Major wars occuring at the time. And a few after aswell. Just stating. I think focusing on justthe civil waritself is bland myself, i tried to pitch the mod idea to include the other nations but people complained that i should focus on the civil war only, so i wouldnt put it past CA...

They`ll just make a new Standalone, so lookout for Wellington Total War: this time lead a campaign with Europe as your allies against that french upstart Napoleon. No way can you be defeated. no one will disagree with you in Diplomacy as this time there won`t be any! Beat Nappy and kick him to some isolated island as the winner!

Then play Napoleon Total War 2 when he returns (as YOU!) from his island prison to do exactly the same thing he did in the original Napoleon all over again!!

All made within 2010!

They cant expand a expansion.I hope they start a new game son.

well, they should have them all in a kingdom like expansion. i would go mad if they made another mini exansion like Warpath, which sucked bad for me.

any way, this is my list

1) Colonial Africa
2) Asia (can't believe u don't have this one on the poll)
3) Crimean war
4) ACW
5) South America.
