In Vedic India astrological, gemstones are suggested based on your horoscope. It is supposed that by tiring these prearranged gemstones you can conquer the obstacles in your chart. The reason of discontented relationships or lack of achievement can be astrological. Wearisome a definite gemstone may turn your love life and career around so you can have a satisfying association.

A gem affects the slight power field, which emanates from each living thing, where our lively and emotional behaviors, thought patterns, belief systems, and so on reside. The energy prototype of a gem in a straight line affects one's emotional and mental energies, and over a period of time this promotes ongoing changes.

But the accurate use of Gems is quite essential. Gems are confidential in to two types: Hot and Cold. Ruby, Red coral, Diamond and Cat's eye are hot gems while Pearl, Topaz, Blue Sapphire and Gomed are cold in scenery.

We choose Gems to enhance the capability or for taking away of the deficiency. These counteractive stones act in two ways; one is by its range effects and other is by radioactive possessions. When a ring is worn, Gem goes on ad infinitum vibrating its power which is engrossed in the character air. The defensive aura thus becomes influential to resist any annoying atmosphere coming from outside sources.

The Gems be supposed to be selected as per the Horoscope needs or else there can be overturn results.

Considering I regard astrology as a pile of gibberish nonsense I'm don't get particularly excited by gemstones that are suggested based on a horoscope.

It's never been shown that power fields even exist (let alone around humans), and it's also never been shown that gems can 'affect' this power field (whatever the hell that means in the first place).

Before my life was changed I had the misfortune to suffer extreme pain in my lower back which doctors of many shapes and sizes put down to a slipped disc, wanting to remove by operation one of these. To shorten a long story I ended up being half-carried into a doctor's home, placed on a table and him feeling my back to find the damage.

As I lay there I could see our relections on the glass of a bookcase and the strange thing was that he held over me something that was spinning. He moved it over my body and then would press on some point which brought tremendous pain. I later discovered that this thing was a magnet dangling from thread. It reacted by way of my electro-magnetic field and certainly found the troubling spots that others had missed.

After some manipulation around the pelvic area as well as the disc noted for removal, I was able to walk out of that surgery without help. Of course it recurred because what I had, not discovered till much later, was Ankalosing Spondylitis which has rendered me incapable of doing the simplest of work for sustained periods.

My point being that we do have an aura or magnetic field surrounding us which reacts with our health in general and did with the magnet held over me, as it pinpointed where the problem lay.

I am highly skeptical of the supposed power of gemstones; I have never seen them be of any use or exert any effect. And I say this as a person who does believe in what the OP describes as "energy" of a living being. At best, they have uses as a ritual, symbolic object.

And I think it's fairly obvious that astrology is not accurate or useful; except, like with gemstones, for symbolic purposes. There's a reason astronomy eclipsed it as the method for scientific analysis of the stars.

When God instituted the Priesthood of Israel He ordained that twelve gemstones be inserted onto the breastplate of the High Priest, each one denoting the twelve tribes. We read in Revelation that the New Jerusalem also has these gemstones as well as other precious things.

Whether they carry any extraordinary power is not noted in Scripture so I suppose men being men will find something to make them have. We know that in the early times gemstones were used as a symbol of authority and power, adorning the high and mighty of most races and creeds but if they were in themselves magical they never were able to alter the course of history as the wearers were replaced by others.

Gemstones are minerals, and rarely rocks and organic substances (such as amber). That's it.

I can see that astrology ‘may’ have some basis in universal archetypes, or that there are general trends which can be ascribed a vague pattern, but gemstones are just pretty rocks. The belief connection is probably real though, so if one can believe they have some kind of energy then they will have an effect ~ placebo kinda thing.
