Looking for major help with SS

Hello, let me first start off with saying I am a total noob.
I have read a lot about SS and how great it is, but alas I am no good at getting the first files first to download then install.
Is there anyone who can help me find the correct order of files to download, then tell me which order they go in.
I only ask cause I have completed the normal game and want to try SS as I've read so much about it.

Download the 2 parts of SS 6.0 then install in order. I'm asuming you know how to extract the two files, using Winrar (Google it). Then download the 6.1 patch and install it. While installing 6.0 you have the RRC options, etc.

Now theres also a 6.2 beta, but its up to you to download and patch. Personally I've heard great things about it, though I havent actually tried it myself. I also dont use RRC either :/

Anyway, I'm a little bit of a newbie too but I hope this helps. If you have any questions, just post em, I or someone else will gladly help =]

Here is the link to the SS 6.2 patch.http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=302184 It stabilizes the mod and has many great new features. However there is a slight bump in difficulty, so I would recommend test driving it first before adding anything else. The SS installation can be a little tricky but it is well worth the effort.
