    Default general female model question

I have done a LITTLE modding in Empire Total war.

So now I want to jump in over my head !

-- but you have to start somewhere.

I want to create one female unit in Empire total war. A single, fantasy, unit for my own use.

But there are no female bodies, or " models" ( ? ) in Empire Total War.

Granted, Rome TW is NOT Empire TW.....

But do you think it would be theoretically possible to import those models into ETW from RTW ?

Probubly easy ? Probubly impossible ?

I ask because I have read that it is generally easier to work with pre-existing models. ( ? )

I recall there was a female unit in the Germanic faction of vanilla Rome TW , she only wore a short, brief , white tunic. she was largely flesh. So, theoretically it seems, it should be rather straightforward to strip away the tunic and replace it with a kilt and other 18th century equipment ( ?)

That's all I'm asking. My body of knowledge at the moment is such that it would be far too much trouble for you to give me even basic instructions.

Oh, in case anyone MIGHT be curious, I'll describe it.

A Grenadier unit with 60 figures. Russian - grenadier- type mitre caps.
    waist-length red hair .
Short, Scottish highlander -type coats. yellow coats, red facings and cuffs,
    black waistcoats.
mini-skirt-like kilts. kilts yellow with a black check.
red ankle boots, muskets, large cartridge box on right hip.

drummer in cloth mitre cap like blunderbuss shotgunners. yellow front on cap, red bag in back.
black coats with yellow facings and cuffs, red-waist coats.
    Red, Stewart pattern-like short kilt.
    black ankle boots.
sword in red scabbard on right hip

officer in black coat with red cuffs, no lapels. gold lace in buttonholes.
red waistcoat . Tricorn hat with gold lace trim or, better, white /red lace trim .
    yellow miniskirt with black check.
    red ankle boots. sword.

uniforms match Austrian battle flag colors.

The RTW models are really bad.... I dont think you want to use them, they got like square blocks as arms, barely 3D..

Nice to know. Obviously I never did a side by side comparison of RTW and ETW models.

    Bingo ! Thanks !

It's rather interesting that in a hobby populated with lots of old bachelors there isn't more titillating female content.
historical ? Lord of the rings is hardly historical.
