Are there any other great mods besides the third age?

I was just playing the Third age yesterday and I thought about the fact that I have no ohter med 2/ kingdoms mods downloaded on my pc. I know this thread is of topic but, Are there any other great mods of the same level as the third age mod ?

Call of Warhammer was just released, though its still mostly in Russian.

I have a thing for expanded americas... it was the first mod to bring me into the battle side of M2, I particularly like the Moors

Fourth Age:Total War is a great mod for Rome:TW, also try out Darth Mod, 300 Warlords of Sparta or End of Days 1 or 2 (all those are Rome mods btw, figured if you have Med2 you will probably have Rome too

).
The only other mod for Med2 that I have really tried is Stainless Steel. Oh, and Thera:Total War was pretty good too.

Stainless Steel, Deus lo Vult, Lands to Conquer, Chivalry Sicilian Vespers and Kingdoms Grand Campaign Mod are all worth giving a spin. However, I'm a DLVeloper and totally bias so don't trust my judgement but... I'd say 'Deus lo Vult' - affectionately known as DLV - because of it's oodles of RPG-style scripting to entertain and delight but also make the game harder still.

DLV - Leaving you buckled and bent (but still with a smile on your face).

Stainless Steel and Call of Warhammer

I currently play the following:

Stainless Steel 6.2
Third Age Total War 1.3
Broken Crescent 2.02

I am currently eyeing up and the following:

Call of Warhammer 1.0 (just released but in Russian, waiting for the partial English translation to be completed and then I will download. I waited a long time for this mod. :XD)

I have downloaded but not installed the following:

Thera: A New Beginning
The Hundreds Year War
Deus Lo Vult

Any info on the last three mods by someone who played them would be nice. I'm mostly looking for info on general gameplay.

The one's in Big Letters are easily your best bet

If you want some fantasy, play Call of Warhammer and THERA, A New Beginning.
If you want realism on battlefield then play Stainless Steel with Real Combat / Real Recruitment
If you want some PRG elements play Deus Lo Vult

And don't forget excellent Broken Crescent

I really don't feel like any mods compare to the epicness of TATW. Although Stainless Steel and Deus Lo Vult are great, once I played Third Age Total War I couldn't go back to any other mod.

Stainless Steel with RR/RC submod is defiantly my favorite mod. Broken Crescent is also excellent and DLV is a good mod if your a masochist and enjoy torture.

A bunch of you came to TWC purely because of tatw (kinda like me) but you don't realize there's a whole world of fora outside the tatw section so, not knowing any better, you come here and ask these vanilla related or very general stuff like "what does ap do?" or "how does spearwall work?".

I too was once completely clueless but I actually looked through those mod lists (for rtw too) and now I have good awareness about what the major mods are and what's worth looking into. Weird I know...
