Suggestion: Crisis of the Third Century mod for Rome: Total War Barbarian Invasion

Ok, so, I was thinking about it recently, and, I'd like to ask/suggest; How about a mod based on The Crisis of the Third Century(If not already started/released)?

I think it would be interesting;

It would be a mod for Barbarian Invasion 1.6 which is set in the Third Century AD(200-299 AD). It would follow Rome through one of her toughest times, where 2 large parts of the Roman Empire, at least temporarily, became independant; Gaul, Germania, Britannia and Hispania forming the Gallic Empire and the Palmyrene empire formed from Syria Palaestina and Aegyptus.

During this period, Rome was faced with Rebellion/Civil War, an Economic Crisis, Plague, and Invasion from the Goths, Alemanni, Carpians and Vandals.

I'm not going to try to explain everything, but I just thought it was an idea.

Great idea! IB has indeed a mod about it but its still under development: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=590.

Maybe it could start on 238 AD after (or before) senatorial revolt against Emperor Maximinus. As young Emperor Gordian III and his praetorian prefect Timesitheus you need to counter the Sassanid Persian invasion from east and Gothic, Carpian and Sarmatian attacks from the north. In north Africa proconsul Sabinianus has revolted and there are large financial problems in Empire...

Another possibility is 260 AD. Emperor Valerian has been captured by Sassanid King Shapur and almost everywhere on the Empire usurpers raise against Emperor Gallienus. Gallic Empire and Palmyra separates and at the same time massive Gothic and Germanic hordes attack. It will be tough time!

Ok, so now, if IB really is about the Crisis of the Thrid Century, then that's just raised my interest in it by a load.

One of the IB project deals with the mid-end period of the 3rd century, so I would love it if someone actually created a mod that deals with the early period of that era.
