English Translation Call of Warhammer TW. Updates and Mistakes. UPDATE 1.03

I have no idea. To be honest I don't even know why now I don't have CTD when loading a game (maybe the file that Beregond posted helped me but I'm only guessing). It is strange/odd/annoying etc (call it the way you like it).

where is that file that makes savegames compatible? i cant find it, can someone tell me what page its on?

47 people downloaded my text folder and we don't know how many have problems with it and how many haven't got any. Cheer up!

I am using that palied 20 hours 2CTDs until now both exiting from battle window.

I starded yesterday another campaign,my third since i intaled CoW, and on rebel turn 43 i had CTD just as in other two campaings,and i know that there is notning i can do to prevent this from happening even if i load savegame five turns ago its stil gonna come,THATS MY REAL PROBLEM, this load game isue is not a real problem.
The farest i ever came was 78 turn, did enyone win a game or made it over 100 turns?

I made it over 100 turns, but I only have the translations on the first page...so buildings, and some traits are still in Russian...

Ettore53 - although I don't have CTD when loading a save game from the main menu those CTD after some battles still occur and it's a very common problem for many people. I doubt it's text related and let's hope the Team is working on fixing it.

Pilip_de - when playing with Kislev I've ended with a CTD on Rebel turn 57 and no matter what I did I still couldn't continue my campaign. So these CTD are probably script related or simply game related but not text related. Napoleon - hmmm I'm thinking about buying Empire and Napoleon BUT I'm a bit afraid of Steam and the inability of a proper off-line mod (someone on this forum in "Steam, offline mode and calling home" thread (it was deleted some time ago by some 'Evil spirits') wrote about his play without ANY Internet connection and after 3 weeks the OFF-LINE MODE stated that he cannot play Empire any more because the OFF-LINE MODE must connect with the Internet to update itself). How stupid is that? And many people claim that patch 1.5 for Empire makes the game very bad. And as far as I know it's impossible not to download patches on Steam. Or is it? Because I could live with this devil's devise if I could choose what to download and what not to.

No problem Beregond, i realise that i made mistake and i do not mind your interference at all.

Sorry if this posted somewhere... hard to wade through it all. But I find that my translation (1.03) is working almost entirely with the exception of the menu screens which are still blank. Can someone clue me in? Thanks.

i take the text folder holy. dont change nothing = working
then add new files admiral (with adding inscribtion about elven) and again working (after second time)

why? i dont know
what isnt working -> when i add new files from fist page and 2 option: export_bulding new
in this 2 times -> ctd

Grand Admiral I got many CTDs in battle window with english version palying as imperial. I noted taht in all battles crashed the orc had a Spear Chukka, perhaps could something wrong in that

What do you mean by Spear Chukka?

Are you using the first page translation?

He's saying that the Spear Chukkas cause a CTD.

what is the newest translation patch out right now? and how soon are you gonna release another one?

I find it wierd that ppl got CTD due to the english text tbh. Personally i havent got a single CTD and i have played at least 50 turns on most factions. Tbh with you guys i dont think the translation is the problems, I think the problem is that you're installing it wrong.

Was i while since i checked this thread. Have you finished the buildings.battle translation beregond?

still in the process, mate there are some holidays now...

in post number 651 there's an unfinished version to test CTD...could you try it?
