Default Rome Surrectum 2 . Points

    Greetings.
Hello DVK901 truly extraordinary effort to make this mod, I think these words are for you and all your team.

    Points:
1 .- Hordes, for all the barbarian factions, there is a patch that made playing rtw with bi.exe enable this from the hordes. Please always that we found very interesting, plus we must take into account that already existed at the time of migration.

2 .- The maintenance cost must be high on the imperial stage, playing withother MODS (IBFD) I've noticed that AI recruits better and makes full army instead of tiny armies.

3 .- Archaon `s loyal allies, very interesting option I've tested and works well in a game level M / M.

4 .- On the IBFD MOD, Roman forts are certainly eye-catching, there is a submode of RTR, called Ancient Ellysium amending the wall clubs stay strong and aesthetically interesting.

5.-Merry Christmas friends, really we are very grateful for his work, really hope that in time be recognized for this

    1) Hordes need specific units assigned to them, and given that we're full on units, there aren't spaces to dedicate to horde ones. (You can't use a horde unit for something else)

    3) I thought that didn't work on the AI? I have the thread bookmarked and last I see, it's that the mod works on the player but not the AI, it the latter doesn't use the same controls as the player and doesn't have to "click" to attack you (unlike M2TW, where this is apparently the case).

    1) Hordes-MODS where there are units which are recruited in the game and also used at the time of becoming a band, only to have the mark of horde (symbol of the wheel), fijate VLAD eg TW mod ( bi.exe). No need to have unique units that only appear within the band, plus it's just a matter of giving the attribute in the exp_descr_unit, and put the names on it descr_sm_factions.

    3) Note that there are several ways that AI started the war, I would say try it. Also as I said is an option.

    * Because they are doing a script for conditional RS2 hope that the time properly given mario reforms, could perhaps be an option for the player decides to proceed to the imperial stage or remain a republic, by example: We must build such a building, in certain cities to happen mario reforms, since the player would have the option to not build certain building and remain a republic.

    * Something very personal: a unit of comitatenses be recruited after that date or under certain conditions and to replace the imperial legions, I say this to lengthen the game even playing another era. Another option is that one day the team decided to make a mod RS2 in the stage of late empire.

    Merry Christmas

The mod's end time only goes a few decades into the Principate. The Comitatenses system as seen in BI was introduced around the Dominate if I'm not mistaken. Besides, the individual legions stationed in the far flung provinces are acting in the role of the Comitatenses and the auxilia that support them are the Limitantes if thats what you wish.

Also, not everyone has BI even though it's dirt cheap now. The mod will be released with focus on RTW 1.5. Hordes also cut down on recruitment of troops since Horde units cannot be recruited in a city once that trait has been applied to the unit.

Just to be clear, we experiemented with 'hording' for RS2, but the problem is that any unit given the 'horde' attribute in export_descr_units.txt becomes a 'horde only' unit, and you can't recruit that unit. Since RS2 uses all 500 allowed units in EDU, we just couldn't spare units for hording and not be able to use them for anything else. So you are correct that giving a unit the horde attribute, and entries in sm-factions will make it work.....but then if you try to recruit that unit normally, you get an error saying you can't recruit a horde unit. Too bad, because it would've been a cool feature.

But, on the flip side, we're using scripts to help factions protect themselves if they get into trouble (financially or militarily).

Hordes are not compatible with Alex.exe

I had to REM out reference to them to get it to work with RTR FOE.

Where? The term is never used in RS at all.

Must have been my recently installed RTR7 FOE that gave me all that malarkey then.

    Sorry.
