help with cheat needed

i have a bug in the game
i used toggle_fow and noticed that the game crashes on irelands turn
probably when they attack a british city
so ill use a cheat to move that unit to some other british city

it says that it cant find the character...
the name is Shaymus of Ossory
i tried:
Shaymus of Ossory
Shaymus
"Shaymus of Ossory"
"Ne Shaymus of Ossory"

i dont know what else to try.........

(its also in the bug section but no one seems to be active there)

they just send a boat with another army and attack the city again (which causes the crash)
i want to just give them the city
but i cant make the capture_settlement cheat work.......

well it wasnt really sbutle but i killed ireland with the surrender regions cheat and the turn ended without any crashes

so i guess you can close this thread

capture_settlement can't have a target faction, the settlement will go to you no matter what you do.

Can someone please remind me how to move characters with second name (Surname) ?
Somehow i cannot move my princess, her name is Ingrid Svendsen. Any hints ?

Put " " around the whole name.

eg move_character "Ingrid Svendsen" x,y

Also make sure she is outside any settlement before using the command.

Mayhaps you misspelled, at least that what always happens to me with scandinavian characters. Maybe her Name is Svendssen? Otherwise the move_character "Ingrid Svendsen"x,y cheat should work.

You can select the character (move her out of a settlement), then type this instead of "Ingrid Whateversheisnamed"

Wrong. this do not work with move_character formula. It works fine with give_trait or give_ancillary.

If she was available from the start of the campaign, you can look up her name in descr_strat.txt
