Default How do add to individual unit numbers?

    Hi,

I've looked in the modding guides, but dont see anything, it does'nt look like i can post threads in that forum either.
Basicaly, i was hopeing someone could explain to me how i can go through the individual units in ETW and increase their numbers slightly. I remember reading somewhere some time ago about a way you could do it for all units quite easily, but i want to increase certain units by so much and not all!

I tried skimming through the ETW folders where i would expect to see such things, but interestingly all the folders that can be opened, are labelled empty!!

Im using Windows 7, so im not sure if that complicates things?

Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks

Have a look into Darth mod in the hosted mods section, that will hopefully solve the problem.

Shoot coward! You are only going to kill a man!

You have to make a mod pack with db/units or/and db/units_stat_land with the units you like to change stats. You can use DbEditor. Open it go in units or/and units_stat_land find the units you want, from file menu make an table in a anew mod pack, copy there the lines with your units, make the changes, save, start the game using Mod Manager having activated your new mod.

    Happy new year!

Ok, i need some more help here.

I've opened up DbEditor, and opened up both Patch.3 and My_MOD.Pack and changed in every Land_Unit_Stats file, including the original, the My_units and New_units whatever files the Dessert warriors numbers to 200...i've saved it (took ages!) and returned to the file to check it has saved correctly...it has in all the forementioned files.

I start up my campaign and it still states 160 for dessert warriors?? When you say "Start the game using My_Mod.Pack" what do you mean...how do you do that?? if i go to the file outside of DbEditor, then it has a locked sign on it??

Please help, im only only trying to create a simple unit numbers mod!! P.S. i do not have any other mods on my system!

    Thanks
