    Default Iran's Ahmadinejad dismisses West's year-end deadline

    http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20091222/...ar_ahmadinejad

Now the rest of that is just mish mash to me... however I have one question about this little line right here:

"...we will demand from them the Iranian nation's historic rights,"

What in God's name is that wacko talking about?

Of course he does, anyone really think Obama of all people is going to invade? They are already one of the msot isolated regions in the world in terms of trade. EU isn't going to step up, it would be uneuropean of them so... what do they have to lose?
Sure I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is Im not. I honestly feel that America is the best country and all other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.

Yea but what did he mean when he said "...we will demand from them the Iranian nation's historic rights,"?

Maybe it's just a poor translation. Any Iranian wishing to appeal to national pride would be a fool not to use Iran's rich history in his rhetoric.

    Not pacifists, but Iran's gunslingers.

He probably wants them to give back lands that belonged to the Persian Empire.

Achmedinidijad is just digging himself a deeper hole. THe people of Iran are already turning on him. I just hope that they overthrow him before they get weaponized uranium.

You would think that he would learn from a dictator of a neighboring country. Saddam did things similar to this, spitting on sanctions and inspectors. Look what happened to him. These dictators never learn.....

They learn that itīs a russian roulette, sometimes you win (Stalin, Khadafi, Fidel Castro) sometimes you donīt. Might as well try.

If the US hadnīt lost itīs reputation after the Iraq war and the weapons of mass destruction BS, the West would probably have much more support to overthrow that bastard. Now thatīs not a reasonable option anymore.

You do know that we got our intel on the WMD's from the british intelligence.
Plus, we did find lots and lots of yellow cake. Besides, it's obvious he sent them to syria before the invasion. During the inspections he would stop an inspector and say "oh wait wait wait, you can't go here just yet. Come back in three days". yeah, that's not suspicious at all.

I would be quite surprised to see Obama bombard Iran(i completely rule out full scaled invasion)
