finally i did something strategic in this game

i play on vh/vh with denmark and suddenly norway are no longer pushovers.
after a long war its turn 86 already and they still have two cities
the interesting part is that they have 6 (!!!!!) full armies while i have 2....
and they keep these in or right next to their 2 cities
so heres what i did

i took my two armies and put them on boat with each given a catapult
i placed the boats far away from norway's coast (but still close enough to reach it in one move)
than i placed an empty boat to see when they move their armies
sent one unit of scouts to bait them
once they got out i conquered two completely undefended cities without fighting their armies

now the downside

apparently they had one more city in england which i was unaware of so their armies have remained intact in what is now my territory
I CANT BEAT 6 ARMIES!!!!
so i managed to get ceasefire and even allience
but these guys wont leave my laaand
so its a matter of time until im atacked
what should i do.........?

Just beat them at the walls. One City, well defended, can kill those 6 stacks at the wall, quite easily.

Why not send an army out in England, and keep one home?

the problems is solved
one of their armies rebeled
i sent one unit of scouts (cavalary) and attacked it
as i said i have allience with norway so their own soldiers killed their former soldiers

another one of their armies went on a crusade
so basiclly they are no longer a threat

in long years of playing strategy games
(since lords of the realm 2 and heroes 2 to now)
this was one of the few real strategic moves i can say i did

I could tell you how to get rid of those armies.

Should I?

I think I will:

Use the console (~`), then type move_character "name surname" coordinates. So if you want them to move to tile 1,1, type: move_character "Captain Noname" 1,1
You can use show_cursorstat to find the coordinates of the place you want them to go.

Here's how I would do it:
Put your army and a trebuchet on a boat. Take a general with Night Fighter with you. Attack their gates. Fight at night. Take their city/castle without any support from their other armies.

Rinse and repeat.

You haven't read his post: the armies are now walking around "his" lands, he wants them to move on. Sneaking into their castles at night is also funny, but they have no castles there so it makes no sense (and he's allied to them)

That's what I read and remembered when I replied. If he wants to annihilate the faction, this is the way to do it. But... Either way, once he's attacked by them, they'll no longer be his ally, and he may attack as he likes.
