SS 6.2 Crashing During Faction Selection

I just installed M2TW + Kingdoms clean.

I then installed 6.0 part1, 6.0 part2, then the cumulative 6.2 RC4 patch.

I've rebooted, defragged, etc.

When I click on the factions in the selection screen, the game just closes up on me with no error or anything. Not even an event log error.

I'm running Windows 7 64bit.

This happens to me on 6.1 and TATW normally after I've clicked a few things it packs up. The trick is to know who you want to be before you go on and then click it and go no messing

It's a bug to do with M2TW and multiple campaigns. It's also one of the most reported bugs. Please do a forum search before posting a new thread as this has been answered many many times previously.

Also bugs should be posted in the Bug Reports subforum.
