How old is the oldest character you have ever seen in a campaign?
The oldest i ever witnessed was the High King of Ireland, 86 years old.
86 years old its VERY old, even nowadays, the average human life rarely exceeds 80.

Pope Clemens (idk it started with a C and ended with S) was 83 years old when I assassinated him.
Right now I have a King Fernando of Spain who is 67, but Im not that far into the gc.
A HUGE fan of the Stainless Steel mod for m2 kingdoms. Thank you to all the modders!
Mine was Grand Duke Mindaugas, 85 years old. He was a nuisance by then, so I sent him on a suicide mission. Maybe he could even hit 90 years, if I allowed it...![]()
my roman emperor once reached 87 or 88 i think, then he died of the plague in bagdad
I think one of the popes got up to 90...
Most funny part of all this is that they still fight so good. LOL.
One of my kings was around his mid 80's when he died... After 4 turns his son died too... Leaving me in a catastrophe for Male heirs to the Genoan throne, haha.
Magister Templi Sancti Banani dei pauperes commilitones Kongi Templique Sancti Banani - KONG WILLS IT!
In Serbia, 90% of people listen to turbo-folk "music". If you are part of the 10% that listen to real music, including metal, put this in your signature
Obama, your time is up. We're taking our country back from you liberal commies.
I'm thinking that if you have other "generals" that are family members, then I think they become the faction heir. I'm not too sure though, neither am I sure if lets say you have no adopted or family member generals, but you have one of those recruited generals that are not yet adopted, not sure if would become your faction heir.
Has anyone else noticed that there's a discrepancy between turns and character ages? Each turn works out at something like one year and four months, while characters only age one year.
Does that effect any other elements of the game? I want realistic aging, but I don't want to turn the game-play topsy turvy to achieve it.
i think there is a regent, if the leader dies, and you have a general. not sure tough, never happened to me
If there are living male members in your family tree (above 14, of course) they will be declared king. If they don't have the "Of ... Blood" trait they will be called Regent (but still be king). If there aren't any, your faction will die and you have lost.
I rarely have my characters get above 80, because I often send them to their death when they are 70.
The Enemy of Human Souls
Sat grieving at the cost of coals;
For Hell had been annexed of late,
And was a sovereign Southern State.
