Not showing the Hex badge is the same as have resigned or at least taking some time off due to RL or for whatever reason Hader has.

    LOL, VZ is correct.

Just to give those who do know background. No one was willing to run for Curator. I stated I would but i will be starting a new job in a new country and I do not know when i will have internet. I was encouraged to do so and that I could get a CA to assist in that time period. Even during that time period of no internet (about two to three weeks) I kept in touch with the Iskar (my CA). I was never "gone" but connected via my phone much to the irritation of my wife because i was burning through my minutes. Once I had internet I was again more "visible" and this was before the silly VonC attempt. It was a complete joke. It is ashamed that you cannot look pas your hatred to see it for what it was. I ask again, is your life this boring that you would go surfing the archives so that you could continue this obnoxious behavior towards me? Do you have to tear down others to enjoy yourself on a gaming forum?

I'd lie if I say I'm surprised of this from you.
That's of course a possibility but it highlights the fact that the said member was absent. Same reason why he got vired from the Award Committee (admitted by himslef even if not telling the whole story). Don't you think that it's quite ironic, to not say hypocrite, to complain publicly about the site owner and administrators "absence" while unable to respect his site duties himself, while unable to know for sure what is going on behing the curtains?

What about his false claims about me in the CCT, saying that I've used one of his candidate moderation history to justify my choice to vote against it? Is that not called defamation? What about his pathetic explanation about the word "behaviour"? Is that not called bad faith? I'm still waiting for the evidence of his claims.
And what for? Just to refuse to admit his mistake?

I did a major one during Aexodus 1st patronization. I was wrong and far too harsh and I even apologized to his patron for my behaviour. Ponti can testify.

So yes I'm finding PikeStance attitude quite unworthy for citizenry and even toxic for good debate in the Curia. Unlike him, I take full responsability for my statements and not hide behind excuses.

I wasn't absent. I was not doing the actual action, but supervising it. There wasn't a day I did not log on and communicated in some fashion. So this is again a false statement by you.

I never complained about administrators. I stated that it is not a new thing to have inactive admins.

I do not know anyone who have ever stated that I never respect my duties. I never receive complaints but always compliments for my duties. This is again a lie by you.

is this a joke. I admitted that I listed the wrong person (you) and actually corrected it. Should I bother to link the posts? Instead of thanking me for correcting my mistake, you made another snide remark.

^^ I was answering to VZ.
And about your posts and mine in the CCT, they're public and with the relevant links. People are free to check them and to make their own opinion.

Edit: I'm not making "nasty comments" about you. I didn't say you're toxic but your attitude is toxic, that's quite different. I'm serious with my claims and if this institution (Curia) was able to react in due time, you would know it by now.

You quoted VZ in regards to me. That's like talking about someone while they are in the room with you.

There is no difference between saying someone is toxic or their attitude is toxic. The net result is the same. If I said that you are toxic or if i say your attitude toward me is toxic, it is the same thing. You keep trying to draw these fine lines to make what you say less toxic, but it is the same.

Anyway there isn't anything toxic about my attitude. Despite different opinions, and despite my pessimism, I still make proposal and suggestions with optimism. I don't get how my "attitude is toxic" if I am the one asking you not to make this personal???

    My premise
This site will not recover unless 1 The owner takes a more active role in the direction of the site. 2. The perception and reputation of the Curia is improved.
We can argue the finer points, but let's jut argue the finer points but PLEASE stop making this personal. Every time I write anything, you instantly bring up ancient history and often you present it falsely. It is annoying and absolutely counter productive for premise #2.

Anyway, for the love of humanity, bury the hatchet. I don't you and you do not know me; stop acting as if you are familiar with me.

Bury the hatchet he says, after continuously responding to every single post here.

If you want to bury the hatchet, be the bigger man and walk away, Pike. Though I think we all know you wont do that. How many times have you said "this argument is over" or "lets agree to disagree" or some variant of that only to continue to respond?

https://www.twcenter.net/forums/show...1#post14450715 - later you requested that VonC to end

So, from my point of view, you was indeed VonCed and removed as a Censor back then.

That post was a generalization and directed or referring to anyone in general. The original response was also a generalize comment that inactivity admin is not unusual. Let's not stir the pot.

Day late and a dollar short. The point was inactivity. Even if I was actually VonC for inactivity, it would be 100% justified.

Gentlemen, the discussion was ended. It is time to move on.

Hold on there for a minute.

It seems you always say that when you know your arguments is either hollow and doesn't stick or know you are wrong at the same time we, the others, are right.

I would say that kind of behavior is both toxic and a step in a direction to meet the criteria of unbecoming a citizen.

The conversation has ended. The point being made was that in the past That I was accused of inactivity and a failed VonC attempt was made. If I was indeed inactive the Curia would be in their right to VonC me. I don't know the point in bringing up something in ancient History. You went further back in history to bring up something completely unrelated for, what reason?

There is no hypocrisy here. I already stated my removal from Librarian was justified. My removal from awards committee was a little too quick, but since I didn't informed anyone of my absence, i can why the decision was made. Real life "gets us." Sometimes, we see it coming. Other times, We do not. If I had any staff position or curial position when i started my new position, i would have resigned. I have no time at all right now. I respond between stuff. Now, I have to go back to work to prep for another class.

I don't honestly remember. It would had been at least two weeks. I had 150 summative assessment, followed quickly by another 150 written exams. The summatives were more involved to grade so it was more than likely a two weeks worth of grading. So two to three weeks is very plausible. But as i said, I should had anticipated and made the proper notification. So it is still on me.

    Really?

Do you really believe we, the other citizens, will accept that? I don't accept it and quite frankly you asked for it as it was you who said it, remember.

What in earth has staff duties got to do what I quoted above? Nothing, absolutely nothing.

Of course being absence is a valid reason for removal from staff, but that's not what we are talking about here. Are we? That VoNC was for a curial office, not staff.
