What do you find confusing about it? That's the way it's supposed to be set up...

It's poor terminology to indicate they will be public at the end of the poll, but it's behaved that way since the inception of VB4 as far as I can tell including for each poll prior to my tenure. The results telling you they are hidden when you select 'show more' is much more important to acknowledge. Focus on the detail that gives the result, rather than a slight miss in wording.

Spoiler for wait what dragons?:
Apart from the fact that it was already explained to you that the vote becomes public AFTER voting has ended but isn't during the voting phase and apart from the fact that the quote, disregarding the generic present form, does not state that your vote will be seen IMMEDIATELY, this is an issue you could have resolved yourself very easily by voting. Then you would have seen this:
This is an application thread and should be about the applicant. Other threads exist where you could ask or talk about this, but even after being informed of this you still want to have this here. It is incredibly disrespectful by you to the candidate and the patron that you derail voting threads on purpose when you don't even have the intention to participate in the actual voting.
It confuses me when it says "others can view what option I pick" and at the same time I know the result is hidden until the poll is closed. That's pure contradiction IMO.
Furthermore, I know all previous polls, except one recently, I've voted in doesn't have the text I copy.

I'm pretty sure that the very same info was also in the Rome Remastered Vote. If you voted there like you said you did, then it's beyond me how you still can be confused after that.
I'm also quite certain that this message has been around for years.
The discussion about alleged issues with the poll have been moved to this thread.

Because there too the vote is hidden now and public later. Same system. Your amazement is like driving a car to work without issues and then being completely dumbfounded when seeing another car.
Because the Curia isn't the only place with votes taking place. smh.
Not to mention he is capable of seeing if results go public or not from afar, and so has had the chance to do it in the Curia theoretically since 2010. But this all seems like much ado since the results don't back the perceived issue.

You are mistaken. Every single Citizenship poll is set up like this. Votes in the Curia Vote subforum are set up differently and do not show who voted for what at the end.Furthermore, I know all previous polls, except one recently, I've voted in doesn't have the text I copy.
I'm not sure how many more people need to tell you in how many different ways before you realize you're mistaken.
I'm not sure attacking people for trying to explain the simple workings of a poll is the right move here. You're new here and that amazes me that a citizen like you are saying that, especially when I know that has not been the case.

If the text seems a little strange yet the result is precisely in accordance with procedure, I'm afraid I must be quite serious myself and say there isn't anything at all to be done here. Any further dwelling is indeed a drastic measure to a non-issue.

Such an action would be silly, meaningless or depressingly dramatic. It may help to know which to expect, if simple civility is not somewhere in the options.

I just said I did.Do you?
I wonder if you want to know what I might do, should I decide to do a drastic action.
Take the action.

I am not sure what you mean by this, but i was writing in support of GB who was correct. Whoever untickied it was 100% wrong to do so. It has been awhile so i do not even know who unstickied it. Anyway, all's well that ends well.

Citizen applications votes are always public even back in the CdeC days. (Note, back in the day you had the option to keep the entire proceedings private).
