Things are very seldom what they seem. In my experience, they’re usually a damn sight worse.

Re: Townhall - Curial Commentary and Chat
Oh dear why does all the stuff have to happen at the end of a year long consulship?
I'll slowly begin working my way through things.
----
So as far as my short (?) absence goes:
Surely everyone is aware of a little thing known as COVID-19 making the rounds. It hasn't hit where I live horribly yet, but it had enough so a couple weeks ago, and will get worse. For those unaware, I am both in the military...and as a paramedic. So the last couple weeks has been a national guard medical mission I have been on. The plan of that mission evolved from a two day mission to a week long mission, and ended up being an indefinite amount of time. Technically, it still is, I am however on quarantine now. I've tested negative for the virus thus far, but the quarantine is a precaution for all anyways. So good news is I don't have it, bad news is I am stuck inside for two weeks, and good news for TWC is...I am stuck inside for two weeks!
I will try to go through and clean things up as appropriate now that I can. Suffice to say for now though that I did, when I first learned I would leave for this mission, let the censors/praefects know of the potential absence. I had hoped the timing would allow be to be back in time to properly setup the consul election, though that just didn't turn out to be timed as perfectly as hoped.
As you can imagine, I am careful about what I say about my main job on the outside, being military and medical in a time such as this. It was not something I could - nor indeed would have if I could have - said anything publicly about. At this point I feel it fine to say enough so all understand my absence without going into too much detail. Only Hex and Censors/Praefects were told initially.
So there is that for now. I will go through and do what is needed on my end, and clarify more as needed, however hopefully this is a good start for all.
