It wasn't always so. I actually made the proposal to make this so.
Okay? And? Your statement was still factually incorrect. No idea what your point here is.

You seem to have supported this notion in previous ostrakons.
Huh? Are you intentionally misrepresenting my viewpoints or are you seriously just not cognizant of what that Ostrakon was about?

The rule was created by the Curia, not by Moderation nor Admin. Since it is an 'automatic" process, it isn't a decision made by moderation or admin.

I find your posts related to the topic as disingenuous and hypocritical. In other words, I find your "views" lack sincerity.

I didn't miss any point. What is happening is exactly what should happen. ironically, based on these response, it is "you" who missed my point if you think I have.

If there is anything disappointing is the continuation of the "us and them" and tribalism that undermines the unity that should exist between admin, staff and the Curia. Whenever this barrier is removed, then this site/forum may flourished again. Until then, we will "limp along" like a wounded duck.

How the competition will be awarded was part of the discussion, so it is on topic. Oh BTW, you can include yourself and your post in your warning.

So is the last part a partial answer to Iskar's question?

Thus far my intention is to request Content to run this competition as a Graphics Workshop competition so that the winner may receive credit towards the graphic artist award as is traditional with these sorts of things. Competition threads are not the purview of the Prothalamos forum and if a competition were to be run out of the Curia itself it would have to be done out of the Symposium or Curia forums, which would exclude non-citizens from competing. I'm very much against excluding anyone from being able to compete, so I don't believe running them as a strictly Curia competition is a good idea.

While it is not within the Curia's remit to authorize awards outside of their authority (rep, graphics competition points, etc), it is certainly within a proposer's prerogative to suggest what awards they see fit for the competition as has been done here.

And we appreciate it very much, especially the speed at which you enacted our proposal.

Now that that's been somewhat cleared up, this is not the topic of this thread. If anyone wants to discuss the topic further please do so in the appropriate commentary threads.

Logical inference would dictate that post was most likely a response to the person who's post I quoted and responded to.

This has absolutely nothing to do with the original topic of the thread and is absolutely off topic.

It is direct reference to the hosting for the competition. Th Admin initially stating that they will host it as an official competition was a point of contention. You actually actually responded to it yourself.

    Anyway, the discussion is over.

I have been using that banner for the past 10 application going back to 2017. Prior to that I used a slightly different one for another 4 applications.

This was the base for the other banner

Still, you should improve it. "Here's a candidate that's a great modder, but first a bucket of pixels to your face".

I think I spent more time looking at the godawful banner than looking at his contributions.

I think you moved some stuff that wasn't supposed to be moved?

I noticed this as well... there is a Consular chat thread that was moved that is still in use.

Also, they weren't missing applications.. they were applications that people didn't want to disclose. Same as referrals.
