Like Akar says, thou shalt never question Hex. However, I have my doubts that they intentionally bestowed it upon me; there's no reason I can think why they would, and I never heard about it! I think you could be onto something with the the Man of the Hour award, though. MotH is only a small award (though I am in fairly rare company, last I checked ), but I can believe it was possibly just erroneously included on the list of awards which trigger (in either an automatic, or a manual, context) the badge.

For those at home, Caligula is referring to an incident where he suffered a minor heart attack on a vacation to Normandy in early 2017. He momentarily died before being revived by paramedics.

Cue the dumb question; I've been away for ages. What exactly is a Patrician and what have I done to receive the honour? I'm neither a large award recipient, nor a former admin, as per this thread.

Perhaps I was given it by mistake, in which case I should probably do the right thing and hand it back, as nice as it is.

IIRC, you got the Patrician rank at the same time you got Novus, but since you resigned your citizenship last year I think, the Patrician rank is automatically removed. Just look at Ishan's profile.

12. Patricians may display the Patrician badge. If a Large Award recipient resigns from Citizenship or has their Citizenship revoked, they lose the ability to display the Patrician badge but retain their Large Award(s).
