    Default BUG?

Sometimes, when I deployed my siege towers at the foot of enemy walls, the troops just running beside the tower instead of coming into it. Sometimes, its only one unit, sometimes both of them will fail.

I think this is a bug in the RS 1.5? Can someone help me on this? I really hate to waste one of finest troops just fooling around the enemy walls, and get slaughtered by the enemy archers.

As Pacco has posted it's a known bug or 'feature' of RTW - it should only happen with the larger walls. There is no way around this. I've tried moving the unit out of the tower but they don't exit completely. The only good thing si that when this happens it tends to happen to less than half of the towers so I can still assault the walls.

Make sure that you have the game prior to going into battle just in case this prevents you from taking the settlement. You can then lift the siege resume the siege and build some sap points as well as some towers.

I once attacked (I was defending) the unit stuck at the bottom of the tower. Somehow it freed the unit up, and they attempted to climb to the top. My men chased them, and something like 4 made it up, right into the waiting arms of my Swordsmen. A bit futile, but it did solve their problem.
